How PocketPad works

PocketPad splits into two paths: Bluetooth HID (no Companion on the host) and optional Wi‑Fi / Companion on Windows for discovery, dashboards, and multiplayer. Get the Android app on Google Play.

Bluetooth HID

• No install on hosts that accept standard HID pairings.
• Gamepad vs keyboard/mouse modes may require re-pairing when switching.
• Media & TV remotes work with smart TVs and media apps.

Wi‑Fi companion (Windows)

• Optional PocketPad Companion for discovery, pairing codes, and a live dashboard.
• Multiplayer: multiple phones as separate Xbox controllers.
• Download the installer from the overview page only if you need Wi‑Fi features.

Controller surfaces

• Custom layouts, tilt-to-steer, Universal keyboard & mouse, presentation and media modes.
